The Notebook Consultancy is led by Purvi B Mistry, a strategy professional with over two decades of experience across market research, consumer insights, and brand planning.

Her work has been shaped by time spent across leading research organisations and global advertising agencies, where she has worked across categories ranging from FMCG and finance to healthcare, real estate, agro chemicals and emerging businesses. This journey has built a deep understanding of how consumers think, how categories evolve, and how brands find relevance within both.

At the core of her approach is a simple discipline: to look closely, ask the right questions, and connect the dots between data, culture and business context.

“Much of my work is centred around moments where the data doesn’t immediately make sense. That is often where the real insight lies.

“I am interested in understanding not just what consumers do, but why it matters within the context they live in. Over time, this has shaped a way of working that is less about quick answers and more about arriving at the right clarity.

Alongside her consulting work, Purvi also engages with academic institutions as a visiting faculty, teaching subjects around Consumer Behaviour, Market Research and Brand Strategy – bringing real-world thinking into the classroom.
